2023 Fall Inspired Tree

Do you love the feel of getting your Christmas tree put up for the first time during the holiday season and the cozy, warm feeling it brings to your home? Me, too! That’s why I decided to keep my tree up year round and decorate it for each season/holiday! It truly makes me happy every time I look at it!

This is my blank canvas that I started with for my Fall tree. After I took my decorations off from the last holiday I decided to leave the burlap on for my Fall tree. This is just regular rolled burlap that you can find at Hobby Lobby or any craft store. I simply started at the top of the tree and weaved the burlap in, securing it with the branches every 8-10 inches.

Next, I like to lay out all of my picks, signs, and ornaments I plan to use on my tree. All of the items below that I am using came from my shop except for the leaf picks on the top left(Walmart) and the gold and maroon leaves (Hobby Lobby).

I always like to start with my picks and fill in any holes or bare spots on the tree. I found these picks at Walmart and they worked perfectly for this. I simply stuck them in a hole and then spread out the different stems using the branches to secure where needed. One of the perks of using an artificial tree is not only being to keep it up year round, but also to be able to use the flexible branches to help you secure your decorations!

Next, I took my sunflower bush picks and stuck one on each side of the top of the tree.

I had this “give thanks” topper in my shop and instantly knew it would be the perfect topper for my tree! Again, I used the branches to help secure this to the tree.

I then continued filling my tree in with my remaining picks. Basically, whatever I did to one side of the tree, I did to the other side.

How gorgeous are these pumpkin picks!? I love the color of them!

Ok guys, you have to check out this tree decorating hack! How cute is this little bow I made using corn husks? SEE THE VIDEO HERE!

Next, I used raffia and a branch to tie a cute bow under my topper. I found this mustard colored raffia at Hobby Lobby.

I then filled in the rest of my tree with ornaments and signs to finish it off! I am so happy with how it turned out! Will you be decorating a Fall tree this year?

Of course I had through some pumpkins and candy corn under the tree to top it off! So adorable! You can find the video for the teal pumpkin that is under the tree HERE!
