Barn Wood Pumpkin Decor

You will need:

*Barn wood or surface of choice

*Popsicle sticks

*Orange paint

*Lace or Doily

*Mod podge

*Stick for the stem of the pumpkin

*Ribbon if a bow is desired

The first thing I did was get four pieces of barnwood cut to the same size. Next, I used large popsicle sticks to glue the boards together as shown below.

Once I had my pieces of wood secured, I roughly painted the shape of my doily with orange paint. This way the orange would show through once I glued my doily on top.

I used mod podge to secure my doily down once my orange paint was dry.

Next, I used a chuck of stick for the stem on my pumpkin.

To finish off my pumpkin, I added a cute crisscross bow!

If desired, you could add a piece of jute twine for a hanger. I am using my as shelf sitter/leaner. So cute!

USA Layered Star Sign

For this project, you will need:

*surface of choice-the one I used is handmade

*star cut-out

*USA star decor-Hobby Lobby

*red, white and blue paint of choice

*POSCA paint pens-here is my affiliate link for the ones I use.

*raffia

*hot glue gun-affiliate link for the one I use.

I started by painting my star cut out with blue bonnet Apple Barrel paint and my USA star with my white paint.

Next, I used POSCA paint pens to paint the detailing. These pens are super handy to have if you craft often!

Once my stars were dry I hot glued them onto my surface. Blue start first and the white star on top as shown.

I tied up a quick raffia bow to add to the top and that’s all there was to it!

Picture Frame Americana Decor

You will need:

*picture fame-mine came from Hobby Lobby

*scrapbook paper-Hobby Lobby

*USA truck hanger-Hobby Lobby

*burlap

*ribbon if bow is desired

The first step is to open the frame up and replace the insert with your scrapbook paper. Any patriotic pattern of paper will work.

Next, I glued a piece of burlap in the center of the frame on top of the glass.

I then added the truck to the top of the burlap.

Now you can either leave it as is and use it as a shelf sitter, or you can add a bow and a piece of twine to make a hanging sign.

So stinkin’ cute, am I right? I think this took me a total of 5 minutes to make! Will you be making one for yourself?

Home Sweet Home Hanging Sign

You will need:

*Surface of choice-mine is from Hobby Lobby

*Home sweet home cut-out-Hobby Lobby

*Scrapbook paper

*Mod podge

*Jute rope

*Ribbon/raffia if bow is desired

The first thing I did was mod podge my scrapbook paper to my surface. As you can see my paper wasn’t quite wide enough to fit my surface. This is wear the jute rope comes in.

Next I painted my cut-out with the color Bohemian Blue from the DIY Paint Co.

After my paint was dry, I took my Posca paint pen and added some detailing. You can use any paint pen for this but here is the link for the ones I prefer. https://amzn.to/3je1kOI

Next, I glued my cut out out on to my surface and added two pieces of jute rope to each side to fill the gaps where the scrapbook paper didn’t cover.

To finish of the project I made a simple crisscross bow with ribbon and raffia. If you prefer to hang your sign like I did, simply glue a piece of twine to the back. This turned out cuter than I had imagined it would!

Burlap Hop Banner

You will need:

*burlap banner(Hobby Lobby)

*Spring colored paint

*Spouncers

*H-O-P letters(Hobby Lobby)

*Glue gun-click here for the cordless glue gun I use

The banner I found at Hobby Lobby came with 12 pennants on it so I cut 5 of them off to make a shorter banner. You will want to lay down something under the pennants before you begin painting. I then took my spouncer and started making polka dots on the pennants. I used two different sizes of spouncers for this.

Once the paint was dry, I then glued the letters on the three center pennants leaving two on each side of HOP.

To hang the banner you simply tie a loop on each end of the jute twine.

DIY Easter Egg Garland

You will need:

-Easter egg ornaments(Hobby Lobby)

-Jute twine

-Pastel wood beads(Hobby Lobby)

To start the garland I tied a double knot in one end of my jute twine leaving a small loop on the end to use for hanging.

I found the eggs and the wood beads at Hobby Lobby. You don’t have to use these specific items but you will want to make sure the eggs you use have a string attached to them so they can hang from the garland. I did three wood beads and then one of the eggs for my pattern but you could certainly change it up for a different look.

Once I had all of my eggs and beads strung, I then tied a loop on this end just as I did on the other end of the garland. This turned out adorable! You could also add some tassels to each end of the garland if desired!
