Do you have some extra barn wood laying around that your not sure what to do with? Here is a quick and easy idea to not only use up some of your old barn wood but to make some cute home décor as well!

Supplies you will need:
*Piece of barn wood or scrap wood
*S-P-R-I-N-G letters(I used the 4 in. letters from the Wal-mart craft section)
*Mint Berry cardstock from Hobby Lobby. This comes with 80 4.5in x 6.5in. sheets. You could also use single sheets of cardstock or scrapbook paper.
*Mod Podge
*Paint brush
*Scissors
*Hot glue gun- Here is my affiliate link for my cordless glue gun I use…and LOVE!
The first thing you will want to do is trace each letter onto your desired piece of card stock or scrapbook paper and then cut them out.
Once you have all of you letters traced and cut out you will then use the Mod Podge to glue the paper on the letters. After I have my paper glued on I like to paint a light coat over the top of the paper also to help seal the letter. Keep in mind the Mod Podge does try clear!

You are now ready to hot glue your letters on your piece of wood. You can position your letters vertical or horizontal on your board. I decided I liked my letters horizontally for this project.

That’s all there is to it! Super cute and easy enough, right?
XOXO,
Lacy
