Wood Flower Bouquet Decor

Hello friends! I was at Target awhile back and found these wooden floral stems and this surface both in the “Dollar Spot” or “Bullseyes Playground.” I knew right away that these would make a cute project!

For this project, you will need:

*Surface of choice-mine is from Target

*Wood flower stems-Target

*Hot glue gun/gorilla glue

*Ribbon of choice for bow if desired

I prefer to use this along with hot glue when doing these type of projects. The hot glue is obviously going to be the quickest, and the gorilla glue is for longevity. You can also use E6000 in place of the gorilla glue.

First, I laid my flowers out and arranged them the way I wanted and then I used my hot glue and just a dab of the gorilla glue to adhere them to my surface. Just a heads up…the gorilla glue does expand as it dries so just a dab with do the job!

I have the light pink floral stem left and decided I wanted to put that right in the center of the bouquet. I simply broke the stem off so it wouldn’t hang over the edge and then glued it right on top of the dark pink flower’s stem.

Now it’s time for a bow of course! This is my go to ribbon for lots of projects. You can find this at Hobby Lobby.

For the bow, I took my ribbon and rolled it end over end 5-6 times. The length of my ribbon stack was approximately 6 inches. I then tied it in the center with jute twine and the “fluffed” my bow.

How stinkin’ cute! I added a cute little button to finish off the bow.

I love projects like this! Cute, budget friendly, and easy!!! I hope this inspires you to get crafty and give this a try!
