Holiday Pretzel Turtles

You will need:

*Bag of holiday pretzels

*Rolos

*Whole pecans

These holiday treats are so easy to make and only take THREE INGREDIENTS! That’s my type of recipe!

Step 1: Line your baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and then lay your pretzels down.

Step 2: Place a rolo on top of each pretzel. Bake at 250 degrees for 3 min or until softened.

Step 3: Place a pecan on top of the rolo and gently push down.

I hope your loved ones will enjoy these as much as we do! Happy Holidays!

Crockpot Nut Clusters

I have to say this is the first year ever that I have used a crockpot for my holiday baking and I have to say it was pretty dang handy! I will definitely be trying more crockpot recipes for baking!

For this recipe you will need:

*Chocolate Almond Bark

*Roasted Peanuts

*Cashews

*Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chips

*Holiday Sprinkles

Set your crockpot to low and add in your nuts. Any combination of nuts will work for this.

Next, break up your almond bark and add that in.

I let this melt for about a half hour, stirring frequently and then added in my package of peanut butter/chocolate chips.

I continued stirring for another half hour and then my mixture was fully melted.

To finish off the clusters, simply take a spoon or small measuring cup and drop by spoonful onto parchment paper or tinfoil. Before the clusters begin setting up be sure and add on your sprinkles. These set up rather quickly and are then ready to enjoy! They are sure to be a crowd pleaser!

M&M Christmas Crack

You will need:

*Saltine Crackers

*2 sticks melted butter

*1 1/2 cup brown sugar

*3 cups baking chips of choice-I used milk chocolate and peanut butter

*Toppings of choice-I used mini M&Ms and holiday sprinkles

The first thing you will want to do is line your cookie sheet with foil and place your saltine crackers in a single layer on the pan.

Next you will want to combine your butter and brown sugar. You can do this either in the microwave or on the stove top. You will want your mixture to come to a rolling boil for 3-4 minutes before you pour it over the crackers. After you have your mixture evenly spread over the crackers you will then put this into a 350 degree over for 5 minutes.

Immediately after you remove the pan from the oven you will spread your baking chips over your crackers. Let them sit for just a couple minutes and then they will be melted just enough to spread evenly over the crackers. Now it’s time to add your toppings. I chose mini M&Ms and holiday sprinkles for this batch. The possibilities are endless as far as the toppings go but a few of my favorites also include, heath bar baking chips and chopped pecans!

To finish off the Christmas crack you will want to stick it in the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours. Once it is fully set you can peel the foil back and begin cracking pieces off and that’s all there is to it!
