DIY Fall Sign

You will need:

*Surface of choice- click here for the link for the one I used from Chalk Couture

*Waverly “pink sky” chalk paint

*painter’s tape

*ribbon, raffia, or any embellishments you want to use

*Glue gun-click here for my affiliate link for one like the one I use

For this project I simply gathered a few ribbons that matched the color pallet I am using for Fall this year along with some raffia. Use whatever you have laying around and I can guarantee it will turn out just as cute!

The first thing I did was use painter’s tape to tape off my frame. I then used my “pink sky” waverly chalk paint and painted the inside of the frame. I did two coats.

Next, I layered my mustard colored ribbon on top of some burlap to create the “F”. Both of these ribbons came from Hobby Lobby.

For the “A”, I used this cute button ribbon trim that is also from Hobby Lobby.

For the first “L” I did the same thing that I did for the “F” layering a navy ribbon on top of the burlap. For the second “L” I used raffia. I love the look of this!

As if this isn’t already cute just the way it is…but you know me! Bow time!

I used this cute pick that I found at Hobby Lobby along with a cute lace bow that I tied up and added it to the top of the frame. To finish it off I added a little navy button. What do you think?

Barn Wood Pumpkin Decor

You will need:

*Barn wood or surface of choice

*Popsicle sticks

*Orange paint

*Lace or Doily

*Mod podge

*Stick for the stem of the pumpkin

*Ribbon if a bow is desired

The first thing I did was get four pieces of barnwood cut to the same size. Next, I used large popsicle sticks to glue the boards together as shown below.

Once I had my pieces of wood secured, I roughly painted the shape of my doily with orange paint. This way the orange would show through once I glued my doily on top.

I used mod podge to secure my doily down once my orange paint was dry.

Next, I used a chuck of stick for the stem on my pumpkin.

To finish off my pumpkin, I added a cute crisscross bow!

If desired, you could add a piece of jute twine for a hanger. I am using my as shelf sitter/leaner. So cute!
