Reverse Canvas Pumpkin

You will need:

*Round canvas of any size

*Mod podge

*Waverly “moss” colored paint

*Scrapbook paper-mine is from Hobby Lobby

*Scissors/utility knife

*Stick for the stem

*Glue gun-click here for my affiliate link for the one I use on my lives!

*Raffian/ribbon for bow-mine are both from Hobby Lobby

If you have never made a reverse canvas before, your going to love them! The first step to any reverse canvas project is to remove the canvas from the frame. I like to use a utility knife for this. Simply cut on the outside of the staples and remove the canvas. We will trim it up later!

Next, I took my moss colored paint and painted the round frame.

While that dried, I then cut the excess canvas off so I had a perfect circle,

I then mod podged my scrapbook paper onto the canvas circle that I had just cut out and then cut off the excess scrapbook paper.

Now it’s time to reassemble our canvas.

Flip over the painted frame and put hot glue all around the back of the frame and then stick your canvas/scrapbook paper circle face down on top of this.

Tada! How cute is this already?!

Now, to finish off this cute little pumpkin, I added a stick for the stem and of course a bow!

Take your desired ribbon and crisscross your pieces. I found this Fall colored raffia at Hobby Lobby so I added some of that on top as well. I then took another piece of raffia and laid it across the middle of my bow, flipped it over and tied it in the back to complete my bow.

Home Sweet Home Hanging Sign

You will need:

*Surface of choice-mine is from Hobby Lobby

*Home sweet home cut-out-Hobby Lobby

*Scrapbook paper

*Mod podge

*Jute rope

*Ribbon/raffia if bow is desired

The first thing I did was mod podge my scrapbook paper to my surface. As you can see my paper wasn’t quite wide enough to fit my surface. This is wear the jute rope comes in.

Next I painted my cut-out with the color Bohemian Blue from the DIY Paint Co.

After my paint was dry, I took my Posca paint pen and added some detailing. You can use any paint pen for this but here is the link for the ones I prefer. https://amzn.to/3je1kOI

Next, I glued my cut out out on to my surface and added two pieces of jute rope to each side to fill the gaps where the scrapbook paper didn’t cover.

To finish of the project I made a simple crisscross bow with ribbon and raffia. If you prefer to hang your sign like I did, simply glue a piece of twine to the back. This turned out cuter than I had imagined it would!

Fall/Halloween Reversible Pumpkin Décor

You will need:

*Pumpkin cut-out-mine came from Michaels

*Halloween fabric-Wal-Mart

*Fall scrapbook paper

*Mod podge

*Jute twine

*Fall/Halloween picks

*Sanding block

When I seen these cute little pumpkin cut-outs at Michaels the other day, I knew I had to have a few of them. It didn’t take me long to figure out what I was gonna do with this one.

The first I did was take my pumpkin and trace one side on the fabric and one side on the scrapbook paper. I then cut them out and used mod podge to adhere them to each side of the pumpkin. Don’t panic if you have some excess fabric/paper hanging over the edge. Take your sanding block around the edges and it will take care of the excess for you.

Now to finish off the stem, I simply took some jute twine and wrapped the stem.

Also when I was at Michaels I found this super cute Halloween pick and knew I had to have it too! I cut a few pieces off and glued them on right at the bottom of the stem.

I did the same thing on the other side. I used a few pieces of some floral picks I had laying around and tada!

Once your ready to change up your decor for Halloween all you have to do is flip it around! Doesn’t get much easier than that now does it?
