Valentine Cookie Cutter Sign

You will need:

*Surface of your choice

*Valentine cookie cutters-Walmart

*Paint

*Glitter-optional

*Jute twine or rope

*Embellishments of choice

For this project I used a piece of scrap wood that I had laying around, but you could use any surface you choose. I found these Valentines cookie cutters at Walmart. The first thing I did was to get my paint on my paper plate.

Next, simply dip your cookie cutters in your desired paint color and transfer to your surface. You may have to re-dip the cookie cutters a few times to get bolder lines.

Once I was done with the cookie cutters, I then used different embellishments I had on hand to dress it up a bit. I also sprinkled some red glitter over my paint while it was still wet. I found these burlap hearts at Hobby Lobby and then just added a cute little button to the middle of the hearts. For the arrow, I used a metal key embellishment that you can find HERE on Amazon.

To finish off the project, I took a piece of burlap and a piece of ribbon to make a cute little bow. I used a piece of twine to bunch the ribbon together in the middle and then finished off by adding a button to the center.

Dollar Tree Reverse Canvas Heart Decor

You will need:

-5×7 canvas, I got mine at Dollar Tree

-Wood heart-Dollar Tree

-Minwax “Walnut” gel stain-Click here for my affiliate link to purchase

-Ribbon if bow is desired

The first thing I did was take my canvas off of the frame. You can do this by using a utility knife or staple remover.

Once I had the canvas removed, I stained the frame and my heart piece.

Next, I cut along the fold lines of the canvas so it would fit back on the frame and then glued my canvas back to the frame. I actually used the back side of the canvas(the oatmeal colored side) for my project as this side looks a little more rustic then just the plain white.

Next, I glued on my heart. The heart would also be cute with a white washed finish but for now I decided to just leave mine as is!

And of course to finish it off, I added a super quick and easy bow! It doesn’t get much easier than this, does it?
