Who doesn’t love a good, hearty, soup on a dreary day? That is exactly the kind of day we are having here in South Dakota today so I figured why not make the best of it!
Here are the ingredients I used:
- 2-32oz. Boxes Chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Celery
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
- 1 Bag of California Blend Veggies-Chopped
- 6 Slices Chopped Bacon
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp. Seasoned Salt
- 4oz. Cream Cheese
- 12 oz. Velveeta Cheese-I used 3 mini blocks
Turn your crockpot on low and add all of your ingredients EXCEPT for the cream cheese and Velveeta. Cook on low for 4-6 hours…or until you get home from work!
Yum!…Looking and smelling good already, right? Once your veggies are tender you will then add the cream cheese and Velveeta cheese. Cook for an additional hour or until the cheese has melted.
Optional ingredients for garnish:
- Green onions
- Shredded Cheese
- Sour Cream
Now it’s time to enjoy the deliciousness! Let me know what you think! My kiddos even finished their bowls so I know it must be good!
