Dollar Tree Velvet Pumpkin Makeover

You may have seen these cute little velvet pumpkins at your local Dollar Tree. I knew I had to grab some as soon as I seen them. They are cute just the way they are but my mind already had other plans to make them even cuter!

I did a little something different with each one. With the navy pumpkin I simply took some jute twine and wrapped the stem. I did use my floral cutters to cute the wonky edges off of the stem before I wrapped it.

Next, I took some raffia and tied a cute bow around the stem. I grabbed these cute little Fall leaves at Hobby Lobby so I added that to the raffia bow to finish it off.

For the pink pumpkin I started off by removing the stem.

Once I had the stem removed, I then took a cinnamon stick and stuck that in the center for the stem.

Next, I took some skinny buffalo check ribbon and tied a bow. I then did the same thing with some raffia and glued that on top of the buffalo check bow. To finish this one off I used a few of the same leaves from the pack I got at Hobby Lobby.

For the last pumpkin I started by again removing the stem.

I then tucked all of the material back in the center of the pumpkin. I took the same skinny buffalo check ribbon I used on the pink pumpkin and used that to decorate my pumpkin. I used three pieces of ribbon and simply wrapped it from the center of the pumpkin under around and stuck the end in the center to secure it down.

I used a stick for the stem on this one and kept it simple with a cute raffia bow.

So, what do you think? Can you believe these started off as $1 pumpkins from the Dollar Tree?!
