USA Reclaimed Wood Decor

For this project, you will need:

*piece of reclaimed wood/barnwood

*USA letters

*star embellishment-I found mine at Hobby Lobby

*Mountain Blue paint by Apple Barrel

*Jute twine

*Raffia & button

The first thing I did was paint my u-s-a letters with my mountain blue color.

Once those had dried, I hot glued them onto my piece of wood along with my star. If you plan to use this piece outside you will want to also use gorilla glue or E6000 to adhere your pieces to the wood to withstand the weather elements.

Next, I used my staple gun to attach my jute twine, wrapping it around several times and securing the end with another staple.

Looking cute already, right? I just felt like the top was missing something, so I decided to add a raffia bow. I was hoping I had red raffia but unfortunately did not so just used the natural raffia I had on hand. I then added a cute little red button to the center to complete my project.

I love how this turned out. This was one of those projects that I had no clue what I was going to do when I sat down and then within a matter of minutes I had created this awesome piece! I hope this inspires you to let your mind run wild and get those creative juices flowing!

USA Layered Star Sign

For this project, you will need:

*surface of choice-the one I used is handmade

*star cut-out

*USA star decor-Hobby Lobby

*red, white and blue paint of choice

*POSCA paint pens-here is my affiliate link for the ones I use.

*raffia

*hot glue gun-affiliate link for the one I use.

I started by painting my star cut out with blue bonnet Apple Barrel paint and my USA star with my white paint.

Next, I used POSCA paint pens to paint the detailing. These pens are super handy to have if you craft often!

Once my stars were dry I hot glued them onto my surface. Blue start first and the white star on top as shown.

I tied up a quick raffia bow to add to the top and that’s all there was to it!

Picture Frame Americana Decor

You will need:

*picture fame-mine came from Hobby Lobby

*scrapbook paper-Hobby Lobby

*USA truck hanger-Hobby Lobby

*burlap

*ribbon if bow is desired

The first step is to open the frame up and replace the insert with your scrapbook paper. Any patriotic pattern of paper will work.

Next, I glued a piece of burlap in the center of the frame on top of the glass.

I then added the truck to the top of the burlap.

Now you can either leave it as is and use it as a shelf sitter, or you can add a bow and a piece of twine to make a hanging sign.

So stinkin’ cute, am I right? I think this took me a total of 5 minutes to make! Will you be making one for yourself?

DIY Farmhouse Riser

Supplies:

*1 3/4 Inch Ball Knobs(Hobby Lobby)

*12 Inch Round Panel(I got mine from Menards)

*White Paint

*Paint Brush

*Sand Paper or Sanding Block

*Hot Glue Gun-affiliate link for cordless glue gun I use in my live videos.

This project is seriously so easy I can’t believe I am just now doing it! There are only three steps to this cute little project and anyone can do this.

The first step is to paint your round board and your wooden ball knobs with any paint you prefer. I used a white acrylic paint from Hobby Lobby but seriously any paint will work for this.

Next once everything was dry I took a sanding block and distressed my piece of wood. The amount of distressing will depend on your taste. I like to make mine noticeably distressed as I prefer the more aged farmhouse look.

The last step is to simply glue on your feet(knobs) to the bottom of your riser. I used 4 knobs for mine and it works perfectly. You could also use E6000 to adhere your feet to your riser but I didn’t have any on hand so just used hot glue instead and that worked just fine.

I am so excited to decorate my new riser for the different holidays! What do you all think? Super cute, affordable, and soo easy to do! Just the way I like it!
