DIY Buffalo Check and Burlap Garland

Supplies:

*Buffalo Check Ribbon

*Burlap-I used 3 different colors from Hobby Lobby

*Jute Twine

*Wood Beads

Start out by cutting your ribbon and your burlap into strips. The longer the strips the fuller your garland will be. I cut my buffalo check ribbon into roughly 7 inch strips and my burlap pieces were a little shorter as I just kept them the width of the roll so I would say they were around 5 inches.

Once you have all of your strips cut you are ready to begin the fun part. I started my garland off with a wood bead and then alternated with 3 pieces of burlap/ribbon and then another wood bead. I also tied to small loops at each end of the garland so you could hang it if you wanted as well.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out! So cute! I have included my Facebook video of me making this so you can refer back to it if you have any questions.

DIY Wood Bead Garland

Who else is loving decorating with wood bead garland? Well, your in luck! This blog post will show you how to make your own wood bead garland in no time. You can certainly tweak this to make it your own but I thought why not throw in some pops of color!

Here are the supplies you will need:

*Jute twine

*5/8″ ribbon of your choice(optional) I got mine at Dollar Tree

*1 inch Wooden beads(Amazon affiliate link)

*Scissors

I did a live video of me making wood bead garland and have included that below. These can be so versatile. I used red and blue ribbon in the garland I made in the video but you can easily switch out your colors of ribbon/tassels to make it more neutral or to make it for another season/holiday.

Here is another wood bead garland I made the same way but simply changed out the color of ribbon I used to make it more Springy!
